Update April 2012 – Nine additional UK personal finance blogs added.
In these difficult days of economic turmoil, people more than ever need to know how to spend, save, invest and make more money for themselves. That is why it is so important for us all to keep reading, researching and broadening our financial know-how.
And whilst there are many large media websites feeding our appetites for financial knowledge, there are also hundreds of grass-roots financial bloggers around the world who provide their own unique perspective on solving money problems, staying out of debt, finding great deals and growing wealth.
Here in the UK, we have our own personal finance blogging superstars and the info-graphic below shows how they fit in the UK financial blogosphere.
If your blog is listed in the blogosphere, congratulations on doing such a fantastic job. If you can’t see your blog and think it should be listed, please let me know for future updates.

Hey D! Thank you so much for including me on your list
It is a bit hard to believe that there is so few financial blogs in the UK. I do realize that some of the blogs targeting the USA are own by the English.
But most of the are of a good quality, although they are missing main element ” personal”, i.e. specific examples and situations. I can appreciated that it is not common to talk about ones personal financial position, but it is quite challenging to have personal finance blog otherwise.
The reason why – you will be competing with ft.com, money.cnn.com, etc…
Thanks for doing this – very interesting and useful. How can one get on the list? I would love to see The Money Principle there with the other UK PF blogs.
Hi Maria, turns out there are plenty of great blogs that I missed, so I’m planning to do an update soon to include them and will count you in
I’ll be very happy if you do. Thanks and keep the good work going.
Thank you very much for the mention on “Money Saving Challenge”.
It seems EVERYONE is now on the look out for the best deals on products and services! I like being able to put these people in touch with people who are passionate about saving people money. When I set up You Could Save I wanted to focus on the value, not just on the cost. This save both suppliers of good and services save “CASH” but also the individuals and businesses.
I think “US” bloggers now forms a very important role online!
Thanks again for the mention x
Love it! Great to see the UK PF blogosphere in such a fine form!
I believe that pennygolightly.com, athriftymrs.com and curbyourconsumerism.com could do with a mention here too (and us lot at totallymoney.com/blogs, if you can overlook my cheekiness!)
Hi Harri, many thanks for letting me know about these four blogs – am planning an update, so will make sure they are included
